Woodside Cottage

Accommodates up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and has a large kitchen/dining room and 50m garden.

Step into a bright and welcoming ground-floor kitchen/living space centred around a fully fitted Shaker kitchen. The kitchen includes a dining area for six and a comfortable sofa with SMART TV, making it ideal for both relaxing and spending time together. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, wine fridge, and ample crockery and glassware.
From the kitchen, doors open onto a large terrace with outdoor dining, umbrella, and gas BBQ, overlooking the garden and a peaceful woodland backdrop. The garden extends to approximately 50 metres, is fully fenced, and provides a quiet and private setting for outdoor meals or time outside. There is also a side gate for direct garden access.
Just off the kitchen is a practical utility/boot room with cloakroom WC, offering a useful space for coats, shoes and everyday items. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying rack.
There is a step down from the hallway to the front sitting room, which is furnished with a comfortable Loaf corner sofa, armchair and an additional 50-inch SMART TV. This leads through to an enclosed porch with a further front door.
On the first floor, there is a family bathroom with both a bath and a rain shower. This floor also includes a master bedroom with a king-size bed and good storage, along with a further bedroom with bunk beds, desk and storage, making it well suited for children. All bedrooms have blackout blinds.
A final flight of stairs leads to the loft bedroom, a light and peaceful space with views across the garden. The room includes a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table or desk. Sliding windows, Velux windows, and blackout blinds and curtains help ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. An ensuite bathroom with overhead shower, sink and toilet completes this floor.
To the front of the house, private driveway parking is available for one to two cars, with additional free on-street parking nearby. This Victorian cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to provide a comfortable and relaxed home from home.
The house is set within a private cul-de-sac, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere. From time to time, you may hear cows in the distance from the nearby farm, adding to the rural feel. Directly from the front door, guests can enjoy woodland walks leading to Darlands Lake and back. The enclosed garden offers a safe space for children to play and for guests to relax.
When you’re not exploring central London, guests can enjoy the nearby nature reserve, local walks, and village pubs. Woodside Cottage is well suited to families or small groups looking for a peaceful and well-connected base.
Woodside Cottage is very similar in style and layout to Cedar Cottage. The main differences are a slightly smaller kitchen and garden, and the absence of a garden office. The bedrooms, bathrooms and overall finish are of the same high standard throughout.
