1. Definitions
“You” and “your” refer to the person making the booking (the lead guest), who must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all members of the party.
“We”, “us” and “our” refer to Mill Hill Escapes.
“The Property” refers to the accommodation booked.
2. Booking and Contract Formation
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by us.
The lead guest must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for ensuring all members of the party comply with these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse or decline any booking.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices are quoted per stay and include utilities, heating, bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning unless otherwise stated.
A deposit may be required to secure the booking, with the balance payable prior to arrival.
Any bank charges incurred must be covered by the guest.
4. Cancellation by You
Cancellation must be made in writing.
Cancellation charges apply as stated at the time of booking.
We recommend guests take out travel insurance.
5. Damage Deposit
A refundable damage deposit is required prior to arrival.
This covers damage, breakages, missing items or additional cleaning.
The property will be inspected after departure.
The deposit will be returned within 7–14 days, less any deductions.
Costs exceeding the deposit remain the responsibility of the guest.
6. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in from 3:00pm.
Check-out by 9:00am.
Early or late times may be agreed in advance.
7. Access and Smart Lock
Access is via a secure smart lock system.
Instructions are provided before arrival.
Access details must not be shared.
8. Occupancy and Use
Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded.
No parties, events or commercial use without permission.
Guests must respect neighbours and keep noise to reasonable levels.
9. Guest Responsibilities
Guests must care for the property and leave it tidy.
Damage must be reported promptly.
Rubbish must be disposed of and food removed on departure.
10. Pets
Dogs allowed by prior agreement.
Not allowed upstairs or on main sitting room furniture.
Guests must clean up after pets.
Guests are responsible for pet-related damage.
11. Maintenance and Access
We may need access for maintenance with notice where possible.
A gardener may attend periodically.
12. Parking
Parking is available but at guest’s own risk.
13. Liability
We are not liable for loss, damage or injury except where caused by our negligence.
We are not responsible for external disturbances or utility failures.
14. Complaints
Issues should be reported during the stay.
Complaints after departure may not be accepted.
15. Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with data protection laws.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
